Hello, my invisible readers. I see an inch of dust lying on this forgotten blog, since the last post was by yours truly, and it dates two weeks back. So so sad. Well, Qualifying Exam is still in progress, although the same can't be said about my education. Since the start of Qualifyings, my laptop and I have been inseperable. Of course, I use it for the good, such as downloading past exam papers and the like, but the evils of Internet and technology rears its damn ugly head after awhile. One example is the installment of O2 Jam, also known as Oxyjam. The latter sounds more cooler (yes, more cooler: emphasis) to Jazmi (Orgasmi, hohoho) than the former. It's addictive, you know. Jazmi, Ayyub, Zulfikar, Hanafi and Faruq haven't stopped playing Oxyjam since last Thursday, at Faruq's sleepover. Almost 24/7 they played it, when instead we should've been studying for Statistics. How did that turn out for you guys, then?
The sleepover was awesome. I don't know why there was a sleepover, actually. I sort of invited myself over, but that was okay with Faruq. There wasn't much sleep involved; more of a frenzy of games, myriads of talking and gossiping and singing Korean songs (Gee and I Don't Care, mostly), and also whole bucketloads of food! Well, we did manage to study Statistics, and also GP for Faruq and I. I hope there'll be another sleepover just like it, if not better. We watched the SpongeBob SquarePants marathon, commemorating the yellow fellow's 10th Anniversary! Coolies.
My next exam is Chemistry 1. Just a bunch of multiple-choice questions. I just hope the questions are as simple to analyse as the questions in Biology 1. I hope, but deep inside, I doubt. Doubt is an emotion, as is anger and resentment, the latter bringing out the worst in some. And when the worst is no longer kept in, out comes the swearing. For the MPs and PRSes, Syaz (as in Syazwana, not Syazni) made a swear bank, 10c per swear. So beware! The highest contribution is made by Jazmi, with his popular encroachment of the Malay translation of the word 'baby'.
The other day, Khaz, Syazni, Hazirah, Hanafi and I made a list of restaurants to go. Sort of a food-reviewing gig. we'll see how it turns out. The list has a very VERY wide range of food, from patisseries to dessert shops, from Western to Traditional Malay, from doner kebabs to Thai food, from cafes to down-to-earth fast food. Anyone else want to join? Food is not free, I might add. Just a whim.
I'll end this post with a joke. A lame one, but a joke nonetheless..
Q: If a normal person sleeps on his back, how does a hunchback sleep?
A: With his eyes closed!
Cheers, lads and ladies. Ta.
